The wired MAC address will be listed as either Ethernet Address or Wired MAC Address at the top of the screen. To locate your Sharp Smart TV MAC address you will have to navigate to the Network settings. Important Note: In order to register for Smart IPTV users must input their device MAC address. A MAC Address or Media Access Control address is a device’s identifying address and is similar to an IP Address which can expose your location. For anonymity reasons, we suggest using an alternative IPTV player such as IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate. Once you open the smart IPTV app, you will be able to locate the Mac address. You should note down this mac address in a piece of paper or in your mobile device. Then you will be able to use the smart IPTV app for a duration of seven days. You can try the app within this time period and see if you are getting the desired functionality out of it.

Using M3U playlist format (.m3u file extension)

The following attributes are also supported in M3U playlists:

• tvg-id - channel code from EPG code table
• tvg-name - channel name from EPG code table
• group-title - channel group
• parent-code - group parent code
• audio-track - ISO 639-1 audio track code (LG only, see codes table)
• tvg-logo - path to the big channel logo, minimum height should be 48px
• tvg-logo-small - path to the small square channel logo, min height should be 48px (works in the latest app versions only)
• timeshift, tvg-rec - timeshift availability for specific channel

Using TXT playlist format (.txt file extension) (old method, not recommended)

1. Add your own channels to TXT playlist as shown in the playlist example. You can also use M3U to TXT converter.

2. On the EPG Codes page you will find the list of EPG codes to add instead 'EPGcode', or put 'ext' if there is no EPG code available for specific channel. 'en' after channel name means preferred audio track (for LG TVs). '1' at the end of the line means there is timeshift available on this specific channel. 'avi' is used for video files and other video resources (Youtube, Vkontakte). '1234' after groups name sets the parental code for the whole group.
3. Important! Please remove blank lines and spaces between the commas.
4. After modification you have to save the .txt file in UTF-8 and turn off BOM (in Notepad++).

Uploading your playlist

1. Go to http://my.siptv.eu and in MAC field put the МАС address of your TV (example: a1:b2:c3:d4:e5:f6).
2. In the Filename field press the 'Browse..' button and show the path to your newly created file and press 'Submit'.
3. Restart the Application on your device.

Adding multiple external playlists

It's possible to add several external playlists (TXT and M3U). You can add up to 10 playlists, but please note that the more playlists there are, the longer it will take them to upload and start the app accordingly.

If you need to combine your local playlist with an external ones, select the file and add external URL together.

If you want your playlist group named appropriately, please send provider (playlist) domain name and group name to e-mail address.

Adding DVB channels to IPTV list

Channel address is assigned by dvbt-, dvbc- or dvbs- (dvbt - for Antenna channels, dvbc - for Cable channels, dvbs- for Satellite channels) and an actual number in the list of DVB channels.

If you add the EPG code from the list of codes, it will be taken from the server, otherwise if you add ext, the EPG will be taken from the TV input source.

The Red button (REC on Samsung) still takes you to your current input source (HDMI, DVB etc.) and back to IPTV channel.

Enigma2 STB list converter

On the playlist converter page you will now find an Enigma2 based satellite receiver playlist converter to the Smart IPTV app format, which will convert E2 Bouquets to Groups and assign EPG code automatically.

To convert your E2 playlist, the contents of /etc/enigma2/ directory of your E2 STB box will need to be put to Zip archive together with stream IP address and port number input in the form. You should then recheck the EPG codes according to the channel names or assign them manually.

If you can't play certain file, it's format is probably not supported by your TV.

Does Smart IPTV contain any channels? Where can I get a playlist?

No, Smart IPTV application does not include any channels and no information will be provided about where you can get channels or channel packages. Also, application developers are not responsible for the content uploaded to Smart IPTV. Spongebob the movie game.

My MAC address has changed after I switched to another connection type.

Each TV has 2 MAC addresses (1st is WiFi, 2nd is Ethernet) and a 2nd MAC is activated automatically after you switch to another connection type and restart the app. MAC address is unique for every TV and cannot be changed manually.

Since app version 3.0.0 for LG webOS TVs, there is no access to MAC address, so only device ID is available in the app, but it will be activated automatically after app launch if you activated your TV before. Break in 2 electric boogaloo. You can use your old MAC to upload playlist too.

I get 'Server (URL) connection timeout', 'Check playlist URL' or 'No playlist uploaded' messages, when starting the app, while my playlist URL that works on my computer, other devices and apps.

Try example test list http://siptv.app/lists/example.m3u (external URL) first, then then check your playlist for errors. Make sure your URL is a direct link, not a redirect and that it is currently online. You can also try downloading your playlist file by putting the playlist URL in the internet browser address field and use it as a static playlist at My list page.

In case of Check playlist URL you can try turning off your TV/device from power cord for ~1 minute to clear device cache. Also try long pressing '0' or 'CH', or long mouse click 'Reload' button to force reload of playlist URL (disable app cache).

Additionally, try reducing your playlist size by removing channels/movies (especially if you have LM series LG TV with limited memory). If your playlist doesn't appear on TV or disappears after restart, try checking Save online box, when uploading the playlist. You can also try resetting Smart HUB or turn your TV off and on to clear the TV cache if you have Samsung TV.

TVs have limited memory available for app storage, so if your playlist is too big (~5 Mb), it might fail to save in TV's memory.
